Nothing makes a weekend happier than spending time actively in nature, and if we combine this with the enchanting forest corners of Lower Silesia and the childlike joy of picking a full basket of mushrooms under the guidance of a mushroom picker, we have the perfect weekend getaway. For those wishing to continue, a delicious lunch followed by a herbal workshop and a natural health trail. MUSHROOM PICKING
Drive to the Boleslawiec area where we will start mushroom picking under the supervision of a guide. A short training on how and where to look for mushrooms and off we go. An active walk in the forest, great fun – who will be the first to fill their basket, or perhaps who will find better and bigger specimens. For the best specimen, a prize awaits. Drive to a regional restaurant for lunch.
WORKSHOP WITH A HERBALIST
In the afternoon we set off to meet the herbalist. A short training in the garden about the power of herbs awaits us. A workshop under the guidance of a specialist – we will prepare bath oil and edible oil with herbs. Everyone takes their product home with them. At the end of the day, those wishing to do so can take a walk along the health trail – barefoot – moss, forest litter under our feet – a natural massage, contact with nature.
Late afternoon return home.
A tour for the active, for those who like contact with nature. Comfortable, moisture-proof clothing in a dark colour, in harmony with nature, recommended. Comfortable shoes, with a good sole, higher; wellingtons may be suitable.
